As a tired and introverted traveler, I was pleasantly surprised by the cozy and friendly atmosphere at Royal Mile Backpackers. The staff, especially Kat, were extremely polite and sensitive to my needs, ensuring I found the hostel easily. The common areas, like the big sofa and kitchen, were perfect for relaxing and enjoying meals while listening to fellow backpackers play guitar. The spacious rooms with tall ceilings and huge windows provided a comfortable stay. Additionally, the hostel's policy of not checking in late ensured a peaceful night's sleep, and the proper breakfast was a great start to the day. Great value for money and ideal for first-time travelers or solo adventurers.
100% Recommend this hotel.

Superb staff, location, and atmosphere! The staff here are the most welcoming, helpful, and fun I've ever encountered. The location is absolutely perfect, within walking distance to everything. The atmosphere is homey and inviting, making you feel immediately welcome. And the overall experience is simply unforgettable!
The cleanliness could be improved, with some issues in the kitchen and finding hair on the pillow. There were also limited showers, making it a bit inconvenient during peak times.

The location of the hotel was excellent, right in the heart of the city. It was easy to access the main attractions and there were plenty of shops and restaurants nearby. The staff were friendly and helpful, always ready to assist with any queries or requests. The beds were comfortable and the rooms were kept clean.
The noise level in the hotel was quite high, making it difficult to get a good night's sleep. It would be advisable to bring earplugs.

During our recent stay at a budget-friendly accommodation in the heart of the city, we were kinda surprised by the comfort and cleanliness of the room. The beds provided a good night's sleep, just what we needed after a long day of exploring.
Although there were a few minor inconveniences, such as the lack of a full kitchen and noise from the street at night, we didn't mind as we knew what to expect from a budget accommodation. It's important to keep in mind that you get what you paid for.
